On the 6th October 2018 in Sheffield, Vickyy Laws, the National Director of the IIR UK, will be hosting a Pain Management Workshop.

This two-day workshop was developed for those who want to know more about Nerve Reflexology but are not yet ready to commit to the full Nerve Reflexology Diploma course. It offers a combination of both theory and practice for supporting clients who may present with low back or neck pain.

You will gain an understanding of:

  • Neuro-anatomy & physiology with respect to pain
  • The different types of pain
  • Nerve reflexology - its development and progress
  • Consultation and assessment for clinical reasoning in the four pillars of pain
  • Using pain measurement tools
  • The nerve reflex (NR) points relevant to supporting low back and neck pain

You will receive a ‘Certificate of Attendance’ for this course which is accredited by both the AoR and FHT for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.

By attending you will:

  • Establish whether learning at this level meets the needs of your future practice development
  • Learn more about pain science and how you can use clinical reasoning for low back and neck pain
  • Gain useful knowledge on the application of nerve reflexology that you can integrate with other reflexology methods for a variety of conditions.
