The International Institute of Reflexology(UK)® is also the ONLY school licensed to teach the Original Ingham Method®. We are the oldest established reflexology school with over 60 years teaching experience. The IIR has a unique history and a direct lineage to Eunice Ingham.

Our one year practitioner diploma courses give students the most relevant up to date reflexology training available in the UK.

We have regional training courses across the UK at various venues; these are run by our Course Directors who all work in private practice along side their teaching.

The teaching of the practical skills and techniques that form the Original Ingham method® enable our students to become effective professional reflexologists. Our training gives our IIR Practitioners the confidence to practice in both the NHS and the private sector.

The IIR Diploma Course structure is broken down into 7 module Units which are taught over a period of 12 months. Each unit consists of 2 full days either at one weekend every 5-6 weeks, or at one day per month.

After completion of Unit 7, the required case studies and course work, students are eligible to take the IIR Examinations that leads to the professional IIR qualification and an entitlement to full membership to the Association of Reflexologists(AoR).

In addition to the Practitioner Training the IIR run a comprehensive Post Graduate Training programme and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses. These courses and events are held regularly across the UK for the benefit of all professional practicing reflexologists.

It is important to note that Reflexology is a profound therapy, a serious advance in the complementary health field; it should not be confused with foot massage. The IIR is passionate about and dedicated to professional standards in Reflexology.
