Reflexologist Betsy Keating Visits Uganda

Betsy Keating and Dr EdithUK based Reflexologist Betsy Keating recently visited Uganda to promote and assist in training.

“I was so Happy to take the Better Health book and charts to Uganda. The book was a wonderful gift. I gave it to the TASO (The Aids Support Organization) put away in a locked cupboard as they realized how important it was going to be in their teaching programs. I visited 4 centres in Uganda and was able to teach the ‘spinal twist’ at two of them.

Photo shows Dr Edith who I taught a basic Reflexology 5 day course in 2003 in Mbale TASO. I had joined Teams of UK Reflexologists who came annually from 2001-2005. Now five years later, working as a Doctor at the centre in East Africa, Dr Edith continues to see the great benefits of Reflexology and recommends her clients to come for treatments.

In Uganda I was teaching therapists how to take care of themselves. As I have had a problem middle right finger, I may need to learn how to adapt your hand Reflexology to my health needs.”
